WATERING CORRECTLY IS VITAL.
If you adhere to this establishment protocol, in most cases your establishment period will be finished after 9 weeks. If you don’t adhere to this, the establishment period could stretch out to six months, or your plant may die.
- When watering, water the roots at the base of the plant.
- The roots are not established therefor they have not spread far from the plant.
- Until the roots are established the plant is only drinking from the original rootball (which is the size of the pot it came out of).
- Do not just sprinkle the leaves as this will not get water to the roots, where it is needed.
